The Al-Shati Mosque is a renowned landmark located in the Al-Sarouj neighborhood. The mosque, which was established in 2012 on a 1600 SQM area, has a capacity of approximately 750 worshippers. One of the distinctive features of the mosque is the side entrance located below the minaret. The use of neutral colors on the ceiling and interior walls enhances the comfort of the mosque's interior. Additionally, the prayer hall's expansive windows and mihrab, adorned with an artistic carpet that covers the entire floor, are also notable features.
The mosque's exterior facade features a distinctive design that reflects the AEB-ASSF's approach to blending contemporary, Islamic, and local architectural designs in the Sultanate of Oman.
